About The Brewery
Niida Honke (仁井田本家)
Founded in 1711 in Koriyama, Fukushima, Niida Honke pioneered Japan's first natural sake in 1967. Marking its 300th anniversary, it became a "total natural rice brewery," fermenting with native yeast/lactobacillus only and crafting barrels from its own cedar/bamboo, pursuing sake that reflects the terroir.
