Ryusei Night Emperor Daybreak Junmai (720ml) [HK Inventory]
The second installment of the "Yoru no Teio" (Night Emperor) series takes an unexpected turn with the theme of "Daybreak." Appropriately named Daybreak. The label features stripes inspired by Bingo-kasuri (traditional indigo-dyed fabric), capturing the colors of the sky as night dissolves into morning.
Despite its low alcohol content, it delivers the substantial presence expected of a genshu (undiluted sake). Against a light and breezy mouthfeel, a refreshing, citrus-like acidity sparkles, offering a crispness that makes you sit up a little straighter. It overturns the stereotype that "low alcohol equals sweet," delivering a sharp and dry finish.
Enjoy it chilled for a sharp edge, or lukewarm (nurukan) for a mellower touch—its versatility to match your mood is a key part of its charm. It’s easy to drink without causing fatigue, yet lacks nothing in flavor. This exquisite balance makes it perfect for a nightly drink or those moments when you want to stay up just a little longer.
Perfect for that one last glass before the dawn breaks.
