Sohomare Shuzo (惣誉酒造)

Founded in 1872 in Tochigi, Sohomare Shuzo is a family-run brewery for five generations. Using Yamada-Nishiki rice and traditional Kimoto methods, they craft deeply regional sakes. Current owner Jun Kono (Univ. of Tokyo graduate) blends heritage with global perspective, inviting connoisseurs worldwide to taste Tochigi's terroir.
