南部美人於1902年在岩手縣二戶市創立。以醬油釀造技術為基礎開始清酒生產。第三代在南部杜氏協助下確立「南部美人」品牌。第五代久慈浩輔先生自東京農業大學畢業後，積極開發在地食材利口酒與拓展出口，推動傳統與創新調和的釀酒事業。
