About The Brewery
Sanyouhai Shuzo (山陽盃酒造)
Founded in 1837 in Shiso, Hyogo—birthplace of sake according to ancient records—Sanyouhai uses pristine Ibo River water and Special A Yamada Nishiki. Their "Banshu-Ikkon" ages in mine-cellars at constant 12°C, achieving mellow complexity. They craft sakes celebrating Hyogo's bounty in this "Forest Kingdom."
