About The Brewery
Nakama Awamori Distillery (仲間酒造所)
Founded in 1948 in Ishigaki Island's Miyara district, Nakama Awamori is Okinawa's smallest family-run distillery. Adhering to traditional methods like floor koji and clay pot stills, they produce only one brand, "Miyanotsuru," aiming for a locally cherished awamori with rich aroma and gentle sweetness.
