Carefully aged for over five years, this Awamori boasts a floral aroma and a sweet, nuanced palate. It leaves a gentle finish that spreads across the mouth, with a remarkable smoothness that belies its alcohol content. We highly recommend serving it on the rocks. The deep maturation process creates a fruity, elegant bouquet and a powerful flavor profile. Its pleasant sweetness becomes more apparent with every sip, making it a masterpiece perfect for true connoisseurs. By savoring it neat, you can fully appreciate its profound and complex depth. Despite its powerful 40% ABV, the mouthfeel remains mellow and silky—perfect for elevating any special occasion. It also pairs wonderfully with food, particularly yakitori or spicy dishes. Please enjoy the "Aged Koshu Nanko" for your most memorable moments!

About The Brewery

Kamiya Shuzo (神谷酒造所)

Awamori is crafted by skillfully utilizing two distinct distillation methods: a "vertical steam-injection still" to produce mellow and gentle Koshu (aged spirits), and an "indirect heating still" for our rich and full-bodied Shinshu (new spirits).

Both varieties are aged in traditional clay pots (kame) for a minimum of one year, resulting in an Awamori that is exceptionally smooth with a hint of sweetness. For serving, we recommend enjoying our Shinshu (Nanko 30%) with water and ice (mizuwari), while our Koshu is best savored slowly, either on the rocks or neat, to appreciate its refined complexity.
