Shichiken Kinunoaji Junmai Daiginjo (720ml) [Direct from Japan]

Named after the beauty of the nearby Mt. Kaikoma. Hints of porridge with nectarine jam. Off-dry with a refreshing acidity and texture like tweed. Very tidy but flavorful umami fills the mouth releasing oats and nuts before a dry finish. Delicious at any temperature but warm up to unleash even more flavor. Try yakitori, sauteed dishes, roast chicken or sardines.

About The Brewery

Yamanashi Meijo Co. (山梨銘醸)

Established in 1750 in Hakushu, Yamanashi Prefecture, Yamanashi Meijo is the home of the renowned "Shichiken" brand. The brewery utilizes the pristine snowmelt water from Mt. Kaikomagatake—the same legendary water source shared with Hakushu Distillery—to craft sake of exceptional purity and crispness. The name "Shichiken" refers to the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove," reflecting the brewery's deep cultural heritage. A leader in innovation, Yamanashi Meijo has collaborated with world-class chefs like Alain Ducasse to develop premium sparkling sake through secondary bottle fermentation. It stands as a premier brand that harmonizes local terroir with modern luxury and international appeal.
