Shiratama Jiyouzou (白玉醸造)

Established in 1904 on the Osumi Peninsula at the southernmost tip of mainland Japan, Shiradama Jozo has mastered the art of shochu. By increasing the proportion of koji, they have crafted a spirit that balances a mellow flavor with a crisp, refined finish, minimizing the harshness typical of potato shochu. While their flagship "Shiradama no Tsuyu" remains a staple, the world-renowned "Ma-o" stands as their masterpiece. With its elegant profile and smooth drinkability, Ma-o has captured the hearts of enthusiasts since the distillery’s inception.
