Fuji Sake Brewery (冨士酒造)
Eiko Fuji GMF24 Junmai Daiginjo (720ml) [HK Inventory]
This is an ultra-limited sake in Fuji Shuzo’s unfiltered, unpasteurized series, boasting an exceptionally high rice polishing ratio. Polished down to 24%, it pursues an even more refined and elegant taste.
“GMF” stands for GLORIOUS Mt. FUJI, the English abbreviation of “Eiko Fuji.”
“LEGEND OF THE CRYSTAL” — with “CRYSTAL” meaning “crystal” = “the brilliance of rice” — symbolizes the radiance of sake rice polished to such an extraordinary degree. The name reflects the wish that the beautiful flavor born from this “crystal” will remain in people’s memories.
As the brewery is now in its 13th generation, 13 “G” motifs were incorporated, tilted 24 degrees to represent the 24% polishing ratio, carrying the hope that everyone’s business and life will continue to rise upward.
