「梓水龍泉」的名稱源自大信州酒造於松本本社所使用的井水。此水脈與自上高地流出的梓川同源，屬於北阿爾卑斯山的伏流水。水源處供奉著梓水神社，至今仍流傳著龍神的傳說。清澈純淨、無雜味的水質被運用於釀酒，因此以此命名，象徵其特質。
