Mei Ri Shurui (明利酒類株式会社)
1850年（嘉永3年）創業。水戸の地で170年以上の歴史を誇る総合醸造メーカーです。最大の功績は、現代の吟醸酒造りに欠かせない「小川酵母（協会10号酵母の原形）」を開発したことにあり、低酸度で芳醇な香りを醸すその技術は日本酒界に革命をもたらしました。清酒のみならず、梅酒においても日本一の称号を数多く獲得しており、まさに「日本一の梅酒蔵」としてもその名を轟かせています。伝統的な発酵技術を基盤としながら、近年ではクラフトジンやウォッカなどの蒸留酒にも力を入れ、醸造の可能性を世界へ広げ続けている気鋭の蔵元です。
