Named after the beauty of the nearby Mt. Kaikoma. Hints of porridge with nectarine jam. Off-dry with a refreshing acidity and texture like tweed. Very tidy but flavorful umami fills the mouth releasing oats and nuts before a dry finish. Delicious at any temperature but warm up to unleash even more flavor. Try yakitori, sauteed dishes, roast chicken or sardines.

Yamanashi Meijo Shichiken Sake Brewery (山梨銘醸)
山梨銘醸「七賢」は1750年、甲州街道で創業。南アルプス甲駿ケ岳の花崗岩が濾過した白州の名水を使用。明治天皇も宿泊した蔵にて、地元産米と独自技法で繊細な味わいを追求。300年の歴史を持ち、「竹林の七賢人」に因む名は文化財として現存。水を本質とした酒造りを継承。
