Hayashi Syuzoujo (林酒造場)

Located in Asahimachi, Toyama Prefecture, Hayashi Shuzojo dates back to 1626, making it the oldest sake brewery in the region. Blessed by the majestic environment of the Northern Alps, the brewery utilizes an abundance of pristine groundwater, an essential element in crafting premium sake. While their annual production remains limited, their unwavering mission is to "bring joy to those who appreciate their sake." Their portfolio includes the traditional brand "Kurobe-kyo" and the contemporary "Hayashi" series—a label established by the family’s successor. This series explores the unique characteristics of various sake rice varieties, resulting in a diverse range of flavors and distinctive artisanal styles.
